Your Atomic Vacation Guidelines: Enjoy Palm Springs Responsibly!

Welcome to Atomic Vacation Rentals! We’re thrilled to host you in beautiful Palm Springs. To ensure everyone—including our wonderful long-term neighbors—has a fantastic experience, please observe these simple and essential City of Palm Springs Rules and Regulations for vacation rentals.

A little consideration goes a long way toward keeping our neighborhoods peaceful and fun.

1. Quiet Hours and Noise Control

Our neighborhoods are tranquil, and because of the surrounding mountains, sound travels easily. Please be aware that a call to the city regarding noise complaints will result in a visit from a Vacation Rental Compliance Officer and may potentially lead to a citation.

Daytime Quiet Hours (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM)

• Amplified Music: Absolutely NO amplified music is allowed outside of the vacation rental unit at any time. Music may not be audible at the property lines, even if it’s coming from inside the home. This means no outdoor speakers, and please keep indoor volume at a reasonable level.

• Pool & Voices: Enjoy your pool time! Just keep voices and water activities to a reasonable level. Continuous, loud screaming or shouting will disturb the neighbors and is a violation.

Nighttime Quiet Hours (10:00 PM – 10:00 AM)

• Move Indoors: Please move all activities and conversation indoors after 10:00 PM.

• Outdoor Voices: If you choose to remain outside after 10:00 PM, please use “indoor voices” and be extremely considerate of our neighbors who may be sleeping.

2. Occupancy and Parking

Occupancy Limits

• Please strictly adhere to the maximum guest occupancy listed for this specific rental (usually in the booking details and posted in the home).

• Daytime Occupancy (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) may allow for additional daytime guests, but only up to the limit specified in the chart provided with your booking information.

Vehicle Parking

• A maximum of ONE (1) vehicle per bedroom is allowed at any given time.

• Always utilize the driveway and/or garage first before using street parking.

• Never block a neighbor’s driveway, sidewalk access, or any part of the street.

3. Pets and “Puppy Love”

If your rental is pet-friendly, we love having your furry friends! Please ensure they follow these rules:

• Leash Law: All dogs must be on a leash whenever they are outside of the rental property.

• Clean Up: Please always pick up after your pet and dispose of waste properly.

• No Barking: Just like at home, a continually barking or whining dog disturbs the neighbors. Please keep an ear out!

• Safety First: NEVER leave your pet unattended in a vehicle; it is illegal in Palm Springs year-round.

4. Trash and Recycling

Help us keep Palm Springs clean and green!

• Recycling: Please use the blue recycling cart (if provided) for clean metal, paper, glass, and plastic products.

• Storage: DO NOT store trash or refuse in public view except inside the proper containers provided for collection.

• Collection: If you are staying in a house, Palm Springs Disposal (PSD) will handle collection on the scheduled day(s). Please DO NOT leave trash or recycling at the curb—keep it in the designated container until it is emptied.
